The research suggests that “Don’t Diet.” Dieters go wrong when drastically cutting calories, hoping for quick weight loss. Their bodies go into starvation mode and slow down their metabolism. The suggestion is to change the type of food you eat. Then, you can lose weight without intentionally cutting calories. This was a very good meal. The mango hemp dressing gave it a slightly cheesy flavor. It was light and healthy.

Bonus Recipe:
Overnight Oats
1 tablespoon flax seed
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
1/2 cup rolled oats
1 cup nom daily milk or water
1 tablespoon raisins
1/4 teaspoon pure vanilla extract(optional)

Directions:
In a small bowl, stir in flaxseeds, raisins and cinnamon, until combined. Stir in oats, water or nondairy milk, and vanilla. Cover and refrigerate overnight, or a minimum of 2 hours.
In the morning, stir the oat mixture to combine. If the oat has a runny consistency, add an additional 1 tablespoon flax seeds and place back into the frig to thicken up.
