Fishnet Restaurant “Fish Tacos”

Hi, Angels Working On Earth Family, I found this amazing little restaurant that sells fresh fish and freshly made bread daily! It specializes in seafood and is in Maryland. The restaurant is called “Fishnet.” It has a hidden-away feel to it. It was a pleasant surprise!Chef Ferhat Yalcin knows President Obama as a picture of him with Obama hanging on the wall. The vibe is cozy (mom and pop), and the staff is very friendly and accommodating. The fish taco was made with freshly fried catfish. It was hot and lightly seasoned. Crispy! The tortilla taco shell tasted authentic, lightly crispy, and puffy. Coleslaw topped it off.The coleslaw tasted of cilantro and lime. This gave the slaw a tangy fresh taste. Shredded carrots and cabbage made up the main ingredients. If you want something light and fresh, then this restaurant is for you!Try it if you are ever in the North East.Cheers!

Solo Traveler

Traveling Solo Whether I fall in love with the beauty of a country, I love to explore its food for ingredients that I may add to my dishes at home. My travels always revolve around educating myself about culture through food. Study abroad programs have provided me with the travel experiences of a lifetime. Some of the trips involved learning about healthcare systems or helping small healthcare-oriented businesses solve a problem. Now is the time to use what I have learned, to discover faraway places from my perspective. As a content creator, nutrition educator, and healthcare coach; I eat, drink, and cook my way around the world. I share my experiences with readers through travel, from smoked salmon pancakes on board a boat in Amsterdam to savory mousse at “Chez Voila” to tasting my way through a variety of Panamanian cuisine and winging my way through a culinary class. I offer tips for eating healthy, dining solo, and meeting people along the way.
