Sheila’s Tips About Vitamin C– How Does Vitamin C Benefit skin?

Hi Angels Working on Earth Family!

Do you know about the superpowers of vitamin C? It’s an antioxidant that supports your immune, brain, skin, and heart health! But did you know your body doesn’t store this super-vitamin for too long? That’s why it’s essential to either supplement or eat foods fortified with vitamin C.

Now, let’s talk about delicious food and positive vibes! You have the power to choose how you get your vitamin C. Personally, I’m a huge fan of consuming the recommended daily amount (RDA). For adult males, it’s 90 mg, and for adult females, it’s 75 mg. And my go-to way of getting it is by making smoothies. Breakfast smoothies, lunch smoothies, and dinner smoothies – they’re all so delicious and refreshing! Trust me; it’s so empowering to love what you’re eating. Eating delicious and healthy food is so much more stimulating than popping a pill.

Don’t limit yourself to just oranges! There are many fruits and veggies that contain vitamin C. Strawberries, kiwi, papaya, raspberries, blueberries, and cranberries are all excellent sources of vitamin C. So, find your favorite produce and make sure to eat them daily to maintain your vitamin C levels.

And here’s an extra tip – topical vitamin C can work wonders for your skin. It protects your skin from the sun and toxins in the air, evens out dull skin, and provides a range of benefits. It’s found in serums, moisturizers, and eye creams. However, before you try any leave-on products that contain vitamin C, consult a dermatologist first.

In the meantime, eat your favorite vitamin C-containing fruits and veggies, and enjoy the benefits of this super-vitamin!

Love!
