Asparagus | Bok Choy Pizza

Asparagus Red Cabbage & Mushroom Pizza   Ingredients: Bacon, parmesan cheese, mushroom, tomato sauce, and mozzarella cheese. Pizza dough: 2 1/2 cup flour, 1 pkg yeast, 1 teaspoon sugar, 1 tablespoon salt, olive oil, and 1 cup of warm water. Preparation: Combine the yeast, sugar, and warm water; stir gently to dissolve. Let the mixture stand until the yeast comes alive and starts to foam, about 5 to 10 minutes. Add the salt and 2 tablespoons of olive oil to a bowl. Add the flour, a little at a time, mixing until all the flour is mixed. Knead the dough until it starts to come together. Get a feel for the dough by squeezing a small amount together: if it’s crumbly, add more water; if it’s sticky, add more flour – 1 tablespoon at a time. Gather the dough into a ball; this should take about 5 minutes. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and fold it over itself a few times, kneading until it’s smooth and elastic. Tea Spiced Wings

Tea Spiced Wings Ingredients: Chicken wings, Earl Grey tea rub, tomatoes, cilantro, coconut, and honey. Red cabbage, and Preparation: Let chicken wings marinate for 2 hours. Marinate: tomatoes, coconut, olive oil, honey, and cilantro. Place marinated chicken about 1 inch apart on the baking sheet. Set oven to 375 and bake the chicken for 20-30 minutes. Place chicken on a bed of red cabbage and greens of your choice. Dip in blue cheese dressing. Enjoy!

The Gathering Whether you are new to the world of plant medicine or have created secure connections with herbs, you will experience a unique perspective to conduct your own independent plant adventures. The purpose of the gathering is to encourage happiness and well being. Some happiness literature shows that increased fruit and vegetable consumption was predictive of increased happiness, life satisfaction, and well-being. ” Daily food diaries on 281 students tracked over 3 weeks showed that a high level of fruit and vegetable consumption appears to be predictive of greater emotional well-being on the following day. The gathering hopes to bring together people of diverse backgrounds who enjoy learning about and creating with plant-based materials such as herbs and other plants. Mini Chicken Pot Pie

Mini Chicken Pot Pies Ingredients: Crust: 1 cup flour, 11/2 baking powder, 1/4 tsp salt, unsalted butter, 3 tbsp butter, and 1/3 cup milk or cream. Filling: 1/3 cup butter, 1/31/4 cup flour, 1/3 chopped onion, 1/2 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon pepper, 13/4 chicken broth, 2/3 milk, 3 cups chicken pieces, and 1 bag peas & carrots. Preparations: Crust: This is for just a top crust. If you would like a top and bottom, double the recipe. Combine dry ingredients and cut in butter until it resembles small peas. Add milk all at one and stir to moisten. Pour out onto a floured surface and knead about 8 times. Roll into the desired shape, depending on if you are using a round or square casserole dish. If you are making two crusts, make sure you roll the bottom one larger. Filling: Melt butter over low heat in a large saucepan. Stir in flour, chopped onions, salt, and pepper.
