Hi Angels Working on Earth Family!

Today, I made an exciting discovery! I had dinner at The Black Sheep in Manassas, Virginia. This unique establishment features a brewery, spirits, miniature golf, touch football, live music, and delicious food.

During my visit, I enjoyed a three-course meal that highlighted some of my favorite dishes.

For the first course, I started with a chopped salad, which included spring mix, tomatoes, corn, cranberries, and croutons, all dressed in a herb buttermilk dressing.

For the second course, I chose the Shrimp Scampi, beautifully plated with a generous serving of succulent shrimp nestled among perfectly cooked Campanella pasta. The dish was elegantly tossed in a rich lemon butter cream sauce that added a zesty brightness, beautifully complemented by fresh tomatoes and fragrant basil. Each bite showcased the freshness of the ingredients and the chef’s culinary skill.

For the 3rd course, dessert, I indulged in the exquisite Bourbon Butter Cake, a truly decadent treat that was a feast for the senses. It was artfully plated with a silky Crème Anglaise pooling at the base, while a luscious bourbon caramel sauce—warm and inviting—enhanced each delightful bite, celebrating the flavors in perfect harmony.

I highly recommend The Black Sheep Restaurant.
