I wanted to share with you my recent experience at a wonderful restaurant called Fishnet in Maryland. This cozy and hidden-away restaurant specializes in seafood and freshly made bread daily. The friendly staff and accommodating atmosphere made for an enjoyable dining experience.
The chef, Ferhat Yalcin, has met President Obama, and a picture of them hangs on the wall. The fish taco I had was made with freshly fried catfish, which was hot, crispy, and lightly seasoned. The tortilla shell was authentic and had a light crispiness and puffiness to it. The taco was topped with coleslaw, which tasted of cilantro and lime, giving it a tangy and fresh taste. The main ingredients in the slaw were shredded carrots and cabbage.

This restaurant is perfect for those who want something light and fresh. It’s a great reminder that sometimes the best things in life are hidden away, waiting to be discovered. I highly recommend visiting Fishnet if you’re ever in the Northeast.
