Who doesn’t love a hot cup of tea? Tea is one of my trueloves. We should understand the way of tea. It’s about love. Drinking tea is like a warm hug, a cozy blanket, and loving yourself! If you are anything like me then tea brings you joy. Start with fresh water. You need to make sure you fill the kettle with fresh, cold water. Avoid re-boiling.
Make Tea at The Right Temperature
The temperature of your water is essential to the making of a good cup of tea. The temperature depends on what tea you’re making. For a black tea, you’re looking at around 95ºC-98ºC; for green/delicate teas, it’s slightly lower with 80ºC-85ºC. Teas release their flavor compounds at different temperatures.
If you are a perfectionist, then use a thermometer. A tip! For green teas and infusions, let the water cool down for 4-5 mins. For black teas, pour directly, but a minute to cool down won’t do any harm.
Brew Tea at The Right Timing
If you ignore the suggested brewing time for most teas, then the flavor isn’t optimized. Read the instructions to enjoy the full bloom of the tea.
Use The Right Accessories!
It’s all about you! What is your vibe? What are your true loves? Some say porcelain should be your go-to because porcelain holds the integrity of the tea in place.
